Over the Top Rentals was founded in the fall of 2024 out of our passion for soft-serve ice cream and our desire to bring a little extra fun to events in central Minnesota and beyond. What started with just one soft serve machine and a dream has quickly grown into a business built on smiles, sprinkles, and celebration.

In spring of 2025, we expanded our lineup with the addition of a dual-hopper slushy machine, perfect for serving chilled drinks and frozen treats at any gathering. By mid-summer, we added a second soft serve machine to meet growing demand and better serve larger parties, proms, weddings, and corporate events.

Through it all, our mission has remained the same:

Here’s How It Works

Looking to elevate your next event with a crowd-pleasing treat? Our soft serve ice cream machine is the perfect solution for any occasion, whether it’s a small gathering or a large celebration. Designed for convenience and reliability, our machine will keep your guests cool and satisfied all day long.

High Capacity: Holds up to 1 1/2 gallons of mix in each hopper, for a total of 3 gallons, allowing you to serve a large crowd without interruptions.

Fast Production: Delivers up to 8 gallons of soft serve ice cream per hour, keeping the treats flowing at your event.

Effortless Operation: The machine is easy to operate, making it simple for anyone to serve delicious soft serve with minimal effort.

Quick Cooling: After the mix is prepared, the machine can have soft serve ice cream ready in as little as 20 minutes.

Commercial-Grade Table: The machine sits on a sturdy, commercial-grade stainless steel table designed to support its weight and ensure stability during use.

Mobile Convenience: The heavy-duty stainless steel table features swivel wheels, providing easy mobility and quick setup for any venue.

🚚 We Deliver & Set Up (or You Pick Up!)

On the day of your event, we’ll either deliver the machine and set everything up, or you can pick it up yourself—whichever works best for you! We’ll make sure your machine is ready to go and provide you with everything needed for a smooth experience.

Whether you're renting a soft serve or slushy machine, we make it easy:
You’re welcome to bring your own mix, milk, toppings, cups, and cones — or let us supply everything you need for an additional fee.

Just let us know what you'd like us to provide, and we’ll price it out to keep your rental as simple and stress-free as possible!

*We’ll give you mix ratios, mixing supplies, and guidance on where to purchase ingredients.

🧼 Clean the Machine After Use

Before return or pickup, please empty and rinse the machine hoppers. If the machine is not emptied and rinsed, a $40 cleaning fee will apply.

(We still do a full clean/sanitization after every rental to keep everything top-tier.)

🔁 We Pick Up (or You Return)

Once your event wraps up, we’ll return for pickup or meet you at the agreed drop-off location. We’ll take it from there!
