It typically takes about 45 minutes to freeze the slushy mix.

The machine is squeaking loudly — what do I do?

Can I make margaritas with the machine?

This is usually caused by low mix or over-freezing. Check the hopper — if the mix is crammed toward the front, leaving the freezing cylinder exposed, turn that side off and let it thaw slightly. Then adjust the temperature up by 2 degrees.

Mix is not included but can be added for $25 per flavor, which covers about 4 gallons.

Yes — mix up your favorite margarita, piña colada, or other drink and add it to the machine to create a frozen version. Please note that alcohol will affect the freezing temperature, so adjustments may be needed.

No — you can turn just about anything into a slushy! Customers have used lemonade, soda, and margarita mix in place of traditional slushy mix. Please note that different sugar contents require differing freezing temperatures.

The slushy machine needs its own dedicated 20-amp circuit — not shared with other outlets or appliances. Please confirm one is available at your event location before your rental date.

If you're worried about having enough power to run the machine, you can add a generator to your rental. Our generators are easy to use with push-button start and quieter than most. Generator rentals come with a full tank of gas, good for about 8 hours of machine runtime.
